Finest Sounds is starting the year out with a workshop for the programme’s Estonian participants. The workshop will focus on Japanese business culture and music market with the aim of developing new cross-sectoral services and products to export. It will take place on January 26 at Lift99 office in Telliskivi Creative city. The event will include presentations by Raul Allivi and Haji Taniguchi. There will also be a brainstorming session led by Indrek Maripuu.
Various Estonian artists and companies will be working together on developing cross-secotral cooperation in export strategies. The participants will be Estonian artists Curly Strings, I Wear* Experiment, Mari Kalkun, Pastacas, Popidiot, Taavi Tulev and Trad! Attack and companies Estelon, Fanvestory, Festivality, Lingvist, Mare Kelpman Textile Studio, and Tanel Veenre Jewellery.
Secondly, Finest Sounds will be represented with various networking and strategy events at Tallinn Music Week, taking place April 5-8. Further information will be released soon.
Furthermore, in May, the project is hosting an export trip to Tokyo, including four music showcases, seminars and Tokyo Trade Day. Registration is open until February 11th.
