Project goal: Music-driven collaboration models
Finest Sounds aims at developing new cooperation models and cross-sectoral value chains between music sector and sectors already successfully exporting to Japan (e.g. Finnish and Estonian design, lifestyle brands and technology companies) in order to enhance both parties' visibility and to boost sales in Japan.
Key resources
Expertise on Japanese markets and (business) culture
Japanese experts visit Tallinn Music Week and Music & Media, participate in seminars and are available for curated networking sessions. Experts on Japanese markets participate in Finest Sounds seminars, give lectures and talks.
Expertise on export strategy development and design
For companies signed up to Finest Sounds mentoring will be available to work out a tailor made strategic approach towards entering Japanese market. Priority is given to cross-sectoral models where music is combined with other sectors (design, lifestyle brands and technology companies).
Contacts for Japanese market
Participants will have additional help in identifying and reaching Japanese contacts relevant to the participants export strategy.
Export trips to Japan

Promotional materials
The participants that have successfully been enrolled to Finest Sounds export program and have prepared a personalised export strategy with experts will go through a development phase where ideas to combine music content and non-music brands will be experimented on and tested.
